webfact Posted February 1, 2017 Share Posted February 1, 2017 Wildfire forces tourists to flee hill temple in panic LOPBURI: -- Hundreds of tourists were forced to flee the hill temple in Khok Samrong district of Lopburi province last night after a wild fire broke out and quickly raced uphill towards the temple. The fire incident happened at Wat Khao Wong Prachan temple on the Wong Prachan hill which is 650 metres above mean sea level. The temple houses the footprints of the Lord Buddha and is located at KM 178 on the Phaholyothin highway in Lopburi.
