webfact Posted February 1, 2017 Share Posted February 1, 2017 Tourism and Sports Min awards 7 best tourist destinations in Thailand BANGKOK 1 February (NNT) - The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has presented awards to the seven best tourist destinations of 2016. Tourism and Sports Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul presented the awards in recognition of seven destinations in five tourism development zones. The awards included categories such as eco-tourism, community-based tourism, and cultural tourism. Places that received recognition include the sea mud in Phetchaburi province, communities along the Andaman Sea, and handicraft communities in the provinces of Chiang Mai, Lamphun and Lampang.
