Two months late with 800G deposit, what to do?

Featured Replies

Lucky guy, paying only B4,000, in Jomtien. Three years, ago, Phuket hit me up for B10,000 and I had the 800K in the bank, for more than three months. Officer simply was being "difficult" and refused to acknowledge deposit was accurate.

In future, bring your passbook and have the bank print out the monthly statements for the three months before renewal.

You think you know more then ubonjoe, but you don't. he knows a lot about the old and the new visa rules unlike you who only knows a bit from own experience. do some research on him before you start t

  • The money does not need to be in the bank for 3 months to apply for a non-o visa. When he applies for his extension after getting a non-o visa the money will only need to be in the bank for 60 days.

  • You extension of stay (not a visa) based upon retirement application will be denied for not having the 800k baht in the bank for 3 months on the date you apply. You will need to leave the country

If that officer's initials were  "N N" I know how difficult he can be.
