Any rental place on the Island has been ridden by tourists and amateurs and will have had its brakes trashed. See lots of tourists 2 up on little mopeds on KC and I would not want to put my life in the hands of most Thai rental companies knowing the way they get hammered on that terrain Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mark131v Posted February 15, 2017 Share Posted February 15, 2017 We hired an ER6 for the step dad a couple of years back and drove down to KC from Pattaya, not a bad ride and though you are still at the mercy of the rental companies the bigger bikes in Pattaya are less likely to have been completely hammered than a click on KC.
