February 13, 20179 yr hi list, since air conditioning can dry out the skin and throat, does anyone know if having a humidifier in the room would solve this drying out and associated respiratory problems? If this does solve the problem, any suggestions on which product to buy? thanks
February 13, 20179 yr Bedroom....Large bowl, half fill with salt then top up with water, put it on the floor or bedside cabinet. The water evaporates and you will be breathing salt air. Top up the water and salt when necessary...
February 14, 20179 yr Yes, a humidifier is an absolute must in the winter months. No more cracked, dry lips and nosebleeds. If the feet are dry & cracked, massage some Vaseline into them right after a shower and then wear some thin socks while sleeping.

February 20, 20179 yr I'd like to hear the answer to that, too. Salt ions are too heavy to escape into the atmosphere (vaporize) at room temperature. Marine air can be "salty" because the waves wash over sand or crash into rocks, causing some of the salt water to be ejected into the air as fine mist. The mist is blown by the wind and settles on nearby objects, leaving the familiar powdery salt behind as the water evaporates. Unless you plan on running one of these in your big bowl of salty water:

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect A pharmacist put me on to it...I have always had gunk in my throat after a nights sleep....Also on flights.....So did the salt thing and after a week the problem went away...Just try it...In fact do a google on salt and respiration...There are now hotels with salt lined walls to fix stuff....Just try it, costs nothing to set up..
