Nah, I think they decided that they are in charge now and if they want to search there is jack$%#& anyone can do about it.

Not forgetting they were apparently there for a good reason and reacted as they did based on something unknown to us mere mortals,    seems the norm for the military as they usually have an end goal  whenever they move - unlike the BIB who react or don't react depending how they feel at the time or who's paying or not paying.
