An opportunity for TV members to taste pesticide free Strawberries

Featured Replies

In a thread that I started a few weeks back...

... I offered to give away 5 boxes of Strawberries grown at my wife's Strawberry farm without the use of chemical based pest and disease sprays. The offer was done at very short notice and not many TV members had the opportunity to make it to Central Airport. This time I am giving a bit more notice for anyone that is interested in collecting a free box from either Central Airport, Central Festival or anywhere convenient on route between Samoeng and the two shopping centres some time this afternoon.

The berries are still on the plants as I type so I don't know how many boxes we will be able to give away but probably around 20+

Please PM me to reserve a box for today or let me know that you'd like a box but can't make it today. We will try to do the same again another day this week. Existing Customers are welcome to come collect a free box too ;-)

I will update the thread around 10am after picking.

Update: All boxes have gone for today. Next opportunity is at Kad Farang on Wednesday after 4pm

Those are beautiful looking strawberries DumbFalang.

I wish I lived near CM so I could sample them myself!

Well done and thank you for your kind contribution to the Forum Members.

Well, I just checked your location and we are sending a batch down to our agent in Pattaya tonight to arrive in the morning (NakornChaiAir bus station) in case you happen to be anywhere near there tomorrow.

I guess the same applies to any other TV members in Pattaya who happen to stumble across this thread.

I know the bus terminal... it's only about 30 mins from where I live and is on Sukhumvit road here.

I doubt if your agent be distributing them from there... it is very busy with much of Sukhumvit closed for roadworks associated with the new tunnel.

I'd love to give them a try and buy some too... the missus loves strawberries.

Perhaps it would be better to continue this discussion by PM rather than publicly on the Forum.

For those that are interested in gardening or even farming, one the alternatives we use for pest control is coffee grinds mixed with tobacco. Only the best coffee grinds from Starby's of course as they are used only once to make a single cup of  coffee, unlike most other places that are used over and over. Here's the missus saying Thank You to the Starbucks staff for putting up with the big daft Farang that goes into their place each week asking for every last coffee grind that they have.....

Nice gesture. Shame I couldn't sample any as my family enjoyed our visit to see you and your farm in Jan.
