Just for information. I used to do my retirement extension at Nakhon Pathom. Today I went to the recently opened Ratchaburi office that I have done two 90 day reports at to do my latest extention. I had previously asked if the paperwork was the same as Nakhon Pathom and was told yes. When I handed the paperwork over I was told I needed a TM 30. I explained I submitted one two years ago in the Nakhon Pathom office ( unfortunately they did not staple the receipt in my passport) and still live at the same address. Still they wanted the TM 30 filled out. Luckily they accepted the TM 30 with my signature on. Not a big deal and process was quick, but if you used to get extensions at Nakhon Pathom maybe best to take a completed TM 30 with you.

Sorry, do not have the full address. It is on the top floor of bus station No 2. From Bangkok direction you cross the river, go over the new flyover, peel left at the next flyover and turn right. (used to have traffic lights and a display of pottery urns on a rocky outcrop) Bus station 2 is about 2 km on the left.

Just one off topic question. My passport expires October 2018. I plan to do my 1 year extention end of Feb 2018 and then apply for a new passport. Will I get the full year on my extension?

Your extension would only be valid to October 2018 on the day your passport expires.

Thanks. He pointed it out, I knew what he was suggesting and asked. He seemed to suggest I would get the full year and transfer the extention to the new passport. Should I renew my passport before my next extension?

Since August of 2013 immigration has not transferred the remainder of an extension to a new passport if the passport has less than one year when the application is done. 

If you don't get a new passport your extension will only be valid to October.
