Anyone got a quick answer on why 90% of the cars are right hand drive but they drive on the right hand side of the road?

My first question why does this happen.  because of occupation of the English.

Maybe quote should read   " they drive on the right side of the road. "

Don't make much sense to me really only true as of Hong Kong being under China rule now

Is it even possible to drive from Thailand to Yangon? 

They're predominantly used Japanese imports due to price and a leaking border between Thailand and Myanmar although changes are afoot right now and they'll gradually change to all LHD cars in due course. New cars are required to be LHD,

only in insignificant countries, especially remote islands, one drives on the left (wrong) side of the road.
