When i left thailand the last trip i needed to use the toilet before going upstairs to the international area. As soon as i walked into the bathroom, i saw a worker in a red jacket rummaging through an expensive computer carry-on bag... as he saw me, he quickly closed the bag and pushed a baggage cart he was using to support the bag out of the toilet and quickly headed across the airport near the entrance.
Once i passed through the immigration and entered the international area, i reported what i saw to foreigner assistance desk.
Clearly this man was looking for something to steal inside the bag. Their could be no other reason for his actions witnessed by me...
Whether or not the people i informed actually did anythong regarding my report... who can say... but if this can happen so blatantly inside the airport then i imagine it can be a lot worse in the baggage area.

Anyone putting valuables in other than a carry-on bags need their head examined for GRAY MATTER......
