For Sale - 2 Airline Tickets (return) Bangkok - Chiangmai

Featured Replies

Due to a last minute change of plan, I'm selling two airline tickets with Air Asia.

Details as follows.

Departure - Bangkok - 1250 Mon 25 Dec 2006

Arrival - ChiangMai - 1400 Mon 25 Dec 2006

Departure - ChiangMai - 1440 Saturday 30 Dec 2006

Arrival - Bangkok - 1545 Saturday 30 Dec 2006.

It cost me 7,276 baht for the two tickets, including tax.

I will sell them for 4,000 baht.

Pm me...if interested...cheers.

I have always had AirAsia check id's even on domesic trips...

I believe thats true.

Everybody checks ID these days.It is done by the Airpot Authority in CM.

I believe it is possible to change the name on the ticket with the airline before departure.

i am not aware one can change names on tickets. i do not think this is possible. i have NEVER known this to be the case.

Airlines won’t allow change of name, the only way is cancel the ticket and ask for refund, and that were take months.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Change in policy then, I guess. Probably due to higher security? I changed a ticket to someone else's name but it was quite a few years ago, most definitely pre-9/11.

Sorry for the misinformation

No, SBK, I think you are correct. According to Air Asia's website, their terms & conditions state

5.5 Name Change: Provided that the request is made outside of six (6) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time and the original as well as the substituted passengers' identities are authenticated, you are allowed to substitute the passenger named in the confirmed booking with another passenger subject to payment of a charge as provided for in the fee schedule.

So as long as you pay the fee for the name change, it should be fine with Air Asia. Other airlines may be different.

If I recall correctly ticket change fees are quite expensive with AirAsia.

Hey guys.

It's easy to transfer the airline tickets. Don't worry I already called the airline to check on this. I have up to 6 hours before flight time to make the call and transfer them. It will cost me 536 baht for each ticket that I transfer. As I said...I already called the airline and they confirmed this to me.

The two return tickets are still available for 2K each if anybody's interested. If you are interested pm me. If somebody does wants them I will make the call to airasia and transfer them into your name and I will pick up the transfer charges.

Cheers.
