BANGKOK: -- Police and officials of the Department of Special Investigation have been told to look out for a group of about 30 known agitators who are believed to be mingling among protesting Dhammakaya followers allegedly to incite resistance against the officials.

DSI deputy director-general Pol Col Songsak Raksaksakul said Sunday that some of these known agitators used to be involved in past political protests in Bangkok. He added that officials had been told to gather evidences to nail down these alleged troublemakers.

The DSI deputy chief said he was not worried with the attempts by Dhammakaya followers and supporters to internationalise the government’s clampdown on the Dhammakaya cult and the use of Section 44 to hunt down Phra Dhammachayo, former abbot of the temple.

Good enough reason to go in guns blasing!:w00t:

And when we recognise them we are Gunna Do ?

Gather evidence to nail down these alleged troublemakers  :cheesy:

Wanna borrow my hammer and nails  :cheesy:

"Men in Black"

The mysterious Thai "third-hand".

Amazing how they have no shame trotting out these tired tropes.

The authorities will always find a way to justify whatever level of violence they choose to use.

And they got 44 to protect this impending violent aftermath.

I think they mean Alligators

Enough already. Either sort it or leave it. It's getting boring.

Agitators?

More likely Buddhist monks from Myanmar.

I wonder from what organization or funds those known agitators come. Not from the government for sure.

"Men in black is rubbish".

Your directors notes are way out of date el.

And again you think everybody will believe your very untruthful and divisive comments.

Of course. If you do not want to believe (or distract from this) always blame the government.

What can they do? If those men in black (or orange) attack and they don't react - they will be blamed.

If they react and rightly finish this scum - they will be blamed, too?

Catch 22

Collateral damage? Those who take part in the riot know the risk - if they don't stay away - nobody to blame but themselves

Maybe they're the terrorist thugs who shut down the airport? They should be arrested and prosecuted - finally...

Is there a possibility that they may have been sent in by (fill in space -----) for an excuse to go in hard.

So much drama. So dramatic "nail" them down. Kind of reminds me of crucifying physically instead of mentally. Real or imagined or publicity seeking we will see. Makes one wonder who the real agitators are.

Have they already legalized "wonder weed" here? From his expression in the above picture  he looks a little lit up.

Its time for the army to close in and fire at those, who go against the authority. The monks should be practising Buddhism peacefully and not behaving in this manner.

Black robed monks with extremely high powered amulets?

then their govt will fall

Uh oh, next step is fabricated accusations of sacrilege. It's all downhill from there. Just ask Thammasat.

Agitator/s? The individual in the  picture  looks  more to be in a  state of ecstasy! Perhaps  as  just learned  how   many  Bht  per day t be present?  Has been out  of a  job since pre coup  days! :stoner:

Trotting out the "Well That Worked last time rubbish again" Standby

This is a dangerous movement with political undertones. Any self-respecting Buddhist would keep well away from these people. My wife has view on these 'agitators' who are the paid political force very heavily involved and embedded. Now who would have the funds to pay them?
