PST
If the flight is after midnight on the first day of the visa, I presume this is ok?, what about clearing immigration before midnight?, do they accept this, as the flight is after midnight? PST
Yes, Ubonjoe. Visa is valid from 20April, so after midnight on 19th would be ok to travel?, but immigration would be cleared on the 19th itself? PST.

theoldgit
Your visa is valid for entry into the UK from the date stated on the visa vignette, so yes, for the journey you describe the visa would allow the holder to board the aircraft.

Clearing (Thai) immigration is of no relevance and you will have no problem boarding a flight on the 19th that arrives on the 20th. It is ARRIVAL at the UK point of entry that is important/relevant.
