Scottish schools meals serve chicken from Thailand

Chicken lunches at school? Unbelievable: half a stale bap with a smear of dripping is what they'd be getting from me. And be grateful for it.

Yes,, but the Australians always seems to wins.

On a more serious note, I have tried Thai cwickets (jing reet & also dtak dtaen) and they are very tasty , but no doubt the oil they are fried in and the substance they spray them with are also injurious to one's delicate health.?

They are pretty good oven cooked, admittedly not as good as fried though, bark is also relatively safe if you simply must have variety.

I've heard it said that the bark is worse than its bite....

My mum used to pay a whacking 1 shilling a day for my school dinner's, and i never got chicken.

They sell British chicken kievs down my local Tops supermarket here in Bangkok. Guess the world has gone mad, I blame globalization and the age of the internet.

Here's a similar article written by the BBC.

Hi Ballpoint

Alexander Elliot Anderson Salmond I think you are talking about is a man, I think, but I have not looked at the dangle bits to clarify this.

She'll be demanding > I think here you may be talking about Nicola Sturgeon a woman I think but again I have not or want to look at the balloons.

hope this helps for future reference

It will be interesting what Nicola Sturgeon has to say on the subject, as for Alex, he can carry on playing.

Oh, what was I thinking? Where can I hide my face? You are of course correct. In a 2 fish race I chose the wrong one. What a mistake-a to make-a.
