I have a few tourist visas from Vientiane in my passport and I will apply soon for ED Visa.

I found  a school etc. And I am only concern with one thing.

If pay for the school and school gives me all necessary documents to apply for the ED visa outside Thailand (e.g. Vientiane), can I be rejected the visa in Thai embassy?

I am asking about this because I simply want to know what the risk of wasting money which I would pay for the school (as far as I know the school does not offer refund).

I never applied for ED Visa before so I am not aware of potential refusal.

All replies would be very appreciated.

You would only  be denied doing the application if the paperwork supplied by the school did not meet the embassy or consulates requirements to a apply for a single entry non-ed visa.

If there was a problem you would just have try to do the application again with the correct documents.

Thank you for the reply.

I applied 3 time in a row for tourist visa in Vientiane without problem.

Do you think it is safe for me to apply 4th time there ( this time for ED Visa) ?

I know with tourist visa is not a good idea to apply more than 3 times in a row in one embassy.

I am not sure how it will work now when I am applying 4th time now but for ED Visa.

If I could I would choose Vientiane for applying because I know that place and do not have to search for anything.

There is a big difference between applying for a tourist visa and a non immigrant ED visa. They will not deny the non-ed visa applications because of previous tourist visas.

There are reports that your application for ED visa in Penang will get rejected if you have stayed more than 1 year on tourist visa in Thailand.

Maybe it is different in Laos.

I had a couple of Tourist visas from Vientiane and didn't have any problems applying for and getting an ED visa there a couple of months back.
