Garbage danger warning as coin-eating turtle faces life-saving op

Ormsin, a green turtle, is due to be operated on tomorrow to remove coins from its stomach.

 

IN A BID to save aquatic animals, biologists have urged people not to throw garbage, notably plastic, into the sea and even refrain from tossing coins into turtle ponds for good luck.
