A .pdf File Problem: Help Needed!

I have an 8MB .pdf file, I want to save it onto old-fashioned floppy discs 1.7 MB each for a friend who just has an old PC Windows 95 and only 3.5 floppy.

I cannot copy and paste the text because it is a 'locked' .pdf file.

Also it cannot be received by the recipient, because no internet connection.

At the moment, the best idea I have is to just to give as a CD ROM and they will just have to go to a internet cafe to view it.

Any other ideas?

You should be able to "zip" it to multiple floppies.

TizMe is right. You can make the multiple volume by either of the following software:

WinZip http://www.winzip.com

WinrAR http://www.rarsoft.com

WinAce http://www.winace.com

While making the multiple volume keep in mid that the size should be 1.44MB and NOT 1.7MB. Also make it a self-extracted archive, otherwise your friend will also need a copy of WinZip

If you dont know how to make it, u can send the file to me and I will make it floppy sized chunks for u, if the document is not sensitive

What!!! And create another monster Libby :D ? Just kidding :D

Libya, if the document is not confidential / sensitive, you can email it to me. If it's just locked and not password protected, I could try and convert it to a word document for you.
