You may pay her to leave but I'd pay her to stay. What's wrong with marrying her? That should have encouraged her to stick around a little longer. In a relationship like that, when she need some body repair, it's time to trade up anyways. Girls like that have a limited shelf life.

At my age, I have seen a lot of men die without ever enjoying the money they saved by being very frugal. Only their kids are enjoying the money that the old man worked so hard for. The saddest thing about that is that you are doing your kids no favors by leaving them with a pile of money. What happens to the kids when that money is gone?

You can safely bet that a prostitute will have given you far more pleasure than your kids have given you. If you want to leave your kids something, it's not difficult to arrange. She may get what you have here in Thailand, but she won't be able to touch what you have salted away in your home country. I have wasted a lot of money on toys that I don't need, but I wanted them. I don't need many of the things that I have but you only live once.  Why not enjoy what you have worked all your life for?

 

ADDED - My one big problem is that I have no health insurance here in Thailand. That means that I have to keep a fairly substantial nest egg in my home country for any major medical emergency. Hopefully I'll never need it but one never knows. If I never need it that will go to my son.

Hmmm, not that easy to answer.  What have the kids done to earn your inheritance?  Many times in the west, the kids are off to live their own lives and forget about their parents.  Until it comes time to divvy up the estate.
