We are not married but got kid with double nationality so there is a point to getting PL shengen visa to visit kid lets say.

If she would get refused in my home country can she go and apply for example in Spanish embassy? Or it will affect her in other consulates. Cuz to my knowledge its easier to get visa to Belgium France then Poland. She posibbely be orite due shes well off. But need to check options. We only plan visit 3 countries.

Thx for help

Polska would be an obvious stop and a good opportunity to let her meet your friends, family, get to know the country a bit etc. You can of course visit multiple countries on the same trip/visa, in which case you would need to apply at the country that is your main destination.

The Schengen members do keep a shared database to prevent visa hopping (applying at embassy after embassy until you get a visa).

Sure the Polish might be concerned that you might do something stupid like trying to stay in Poland but if you write a good letter that makes clear you and her are not stupid and would then break the law or procedures , have reasons to return, that the reasons for travel make sense, that you can afford the trip, have a place to stay etc. you are likely to get the visa.

In fact the vast number of applicants get their visa. The Belgians and Swedes declining the most (say around 10%) and some member states below 1%. Spain refuses few but is very notorious to ask for too much paperwork (red tape) including some that may be impossible or difficult to get. Various members have decides not to bother with the Spaniards. A common refusal rate is around 2-3%. You can find the statistics here in Excel format and use the filters at the top (click on the grayish button with black triangle) to narrow down the selection.
