SailingHome
Howdy. My condo has WiFi but only one device can log in. I know there is a router type (WISP? INFRASTRUCTURE? DDWRT?) that will connect to that single login wirelessly then serve up a.new.SSID that the other devices can use (and the single connection wifi thinks it is one device.) What type of feature should I look for on the box when I buy the router? Any suggestion what to buy at a store (brand and part number)? Note that in one condo I.have option of wireless single login or wireless, and ths other condo I can only connect wirelessly. Also note that I want at least 3 LAN ports for hard wiring devices in to the secured side so they too share the single wifi login. In both condos, of course, there is a login page :-( and one of them is pfsense that seems smart enough to catch anything. HELP! :-)
Moncul
If you hadn't mentioned the three wired connections, I would have just said get a Netgear Trek.
