If you read through sections 34, 35, 44 and 45, one will come across enough ambiguity to confuse almost anyone. In this case we can discard 44 because it is referring a single lane two way road.

 

However, reading 34, it becomes clear that slower vehicles should travel in the outer, left lane(s) and faster traffic should pass on the right. Watching the video from the dash cam it is clear that no one is following that rule, if fact it's the complete opposite. Even matey with the dash cam passes on the left and the moves to the right.

 

If this had been filmed in a country where they drive on the right it would look perfectly normal in fact.

 

But none of this mitigates the impatient loon in the blue pickup who was being your typical 'I must be first' driver . He was traveling much too fast for the traffic conditions and he paid the price.

Correct.... though this is clearly covered in section 43.
