BANGKOK: -- The staff of Thai International Airways (THAI), shareholders and activists will embark on an anti-corruption drive on Thursday.

The "Anti-Corruption Caravan of THAI' will see more than 100 cars leave THAI's operations centre at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 8am on Thursday to campaign for a crackdown on corruption in the national airline.

The caravan also will provide information on why THAI makes losses, and what the airline's board should do to turn around its fortunes, according to a letter to the press on Thursday.

100 cars surely is a solution 555..

100 tanks maybe. :saai:

That's a lot of people, but I'm actually not surprised. I had some contact with Thai seniors 10 years ago in a consultancy role.

Just a very very small example, I heard one farang consultant ask  'how come I buy new (in boxes) massive amounts of Thai crockery on the footpath?'

Response: lots of giggles and 'you don't understand, this is Thailand'.

Open corruption and collusion at every corner.

Great lack of professional management processes let alone professional ethical managers, all par for the course.
