Cathay Pacific offers special air fares to popular destinations in Asia

By The Nation

Cathay Pacific is offering promotional economy-class fares from Bangkok to Hong Kong starting from Bt4,700.

The promotion also offers special air fares to Japanese destinations including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Okinawa starting from Bt11,700 and flights to Sapporo starting from Bt15,500.

For other destinations from Thailand, flights to Taiwan (Taipei, Kaohsiung and Taichung) start at Bt7,190 and to South Korea (Seoul, Busan and Jeju) at Bt11,880.

Tickets can be booked at the special rates from now to April 30, and the travel period is valid until December 28.

Cathay Pacific lost money last year, the first time since 2003.  China Southern, China Eastern and China Airline (Beijing) were to blame.

'Sounds more like an 'ad' than news.

I fly CP regularly back & forth to the states, and the oceanic flights are always packed despite the competition with china east/south/-, and quite often overbooked even.
