Hi there,

I have gone through a few out dated threads on this and wanted to get an update on whether its possible to extend for 60 days in CW based on Thai child without my wife present.

I have a Non O Multi based on marriage to a Thai, my wife has just started a new job and does not want to take a morning off at such short notice. I would be taking 2 kids, my name is on both birth certificates. My wife got the impression from them last time we extended that she had to be present.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

As what I know; you need your wife to go together for marriage extension but if you only based on your children to apply for the extension, normally the IO will question you ( sometime children ) about "why your wife not present?" You need to have a very good answer for them.

i have a friend got it done because his wife run away from the house for the pass few weeks, no one knew where she go and he need to take care of he's two kids ( age 5 & 9 ). For your case, I'm not sure, is better to have her go together to save time.

I think you may be writing about a one year extension not a 60 day extension to visit your wife or children.
