Thai staff taking too much sick leaves

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum or someone has posted this before.

My company is a small company and we have 3 thai staffs.

One staff often takes sick leaves, at least once a month and she has taken 3 days of sick leaves this month.

I know labor laws her allows an employee to take up to 30 days of sick leaves annually and she still has 10 days more to go.

Btw, she has used up all her annual leaves.

I suspect that she is taking it for personal reason...

We are not paying her high salary, she is a fresh grad and getting about 17k monthly.

Is there any way we can get rid of her legally?

She is a liability for taking so much leaves and affecting workload of other employees.

Maybe she wants to use all she can and quit

She is legal with annual and sick leave. To fire her you need a dossier clearly indicating she is not doing her job properly.
