Where can I get a spark plug spanner? The local Tesco and Big C can't give me one.

Depends on where you live.

I live near a small village out in the sticks and just went to one of the shops that sell tools, pipes, waterpumps etc with a spark plud and said OK. There are at least 2 sizes of spark plug I use. The larger one is for the car, scooter and waterpump and the other is for the weedwhacker.

I didn't know what it was called and he speaks no English and a spark plug is worth 20 photos and 1,000 words. It works for me.

you can get two sizes of plug sockets that fit onto a 3/8" sprocket...also probably needa short extention for good access...in the badd old days I had a 18" extension with a u-joint; that mother could go wherever water could go (Snap-On, of course)...

I've bought packs of spark plugs that actually hae the spanning gauge included.
