Hi Thaivisa.com Posters,

I am seriously considering buying a used Tata Xenon Hi-Terrrain X-Tend Cab 2.2 litre "dedicated CNG / NGV" Manual Pickup.

However, the location where it is to be based -- & it intended to serve for frequent short journeys of approx 8 km round trips & also 1 or 2 times weekly of 40 km round trips -- is approx 100 km away from nearest CNG filling station.

I am not sure if the version I was shown very briefly has 2 tank or 3 tanks ;

They are behind the Cab under an Original Equipment Manufacture Plastic Hood integral with the plastic tray of the open bay area.

By the way, I did notice :

X]

the frame that they tanks sit on is sodden wet rusted steel.

I trust that there is a cheap & good solution to that particular problem.

Replacement with custom welded Aluminium frame or Stainless frame or Plastic frame or platform.

Y]

the gear stick is basically falling down to any side when not restrained.

The gear stick does work though ;

At least for 1 or 2 of the low gears in what was a very short demo around a block by the seller.

Anyway, returning to my main issue, can I run this vehicle on :

1.

LPG only ?

If "Yes", what is the necessary modification & cost involved ?

2.

LPG & alternatively CNG / NGV ?

If "Yes", what is the necessary modification & cost involved ?

3.

Benzene & alternatively CNG / NGV ?

If "Yes", what is the necessary modification & cost involved ?

4.

Gasohol & alternatively CNG / NGV ?

If "Yes", what is the necessary modification & cost involved ?

Thank u Giddyup for this important information.

Apologies to all for wrongful location of my thread.

It appeared to me that one is obliged to select a forum within the Thai Motor forum itself ;

Hence, I opted for the best of what are 2 unlikely correct options.

OK, I will try to insert this thread in Thai Motor forum itself now.
