Getting to Koh Chang from BKK

Featured Replies

Hi, so I believe the vans from Victory Monument to Trat are no longer running? Do these vans now leave from Ekkamai or Mo Chit and do we have to book ahead or just turn up and wait?

Due to head off early tomorrow morning and a bit worried they'll all be full.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can definately get a bus from ekamai run hourly i think will take you to trat and a songteaw to chang ferry point.Cheap and maybe safer than a minibus.

I take it you are not going from Swampy.

Because if you were, there is a superbus that runs straight to the pier and then on to your place of stay. The times are available on line. The cost is 600 baht one way but 900 for a return.I dont know if the prices are correct, but they were last October.

Have fun.

There's a bus runs from Ekamai straight to the pier at Laem Ngob,

Ticket office on your left before you go inside.

The bus stands at the front of the bus station....

Safer and better than going on a van or to Trat.

The bus to Trat doesn't always go into town, then you need a s/theow to the ferry...

Really, someone wanted to ride a van during Songkran...

And then later people come crying that shiiite happened !

Funny all you !
