PM orders probe into suspected fraud as 2,000 Japan-bound tourists stranded at airport

Featured Replies

20000 baht for a 3 day trip to Japan is too cheap. If it was China it could work .

20000 x 2000 tourists = 4 mill baht .   Nice scam .

I hear the Airport is back to "Holiday " normal , which means busy as many  tourists are already heading home after New Years to be at work Monday,   and Sunday many Thais will be coming back.....

I feel a little sorry for poor people that had a dream vacation planned and it went bad ,

We have all gotten good deals on flights , it was $400 RT USA to BKK last year ,  so many just thought it was a good deal and not a "steal"

I  bet the bad guys never get caught and do jail time plus lose all their money ,  it  is just not the way things happen in Thailand and why you have to think twice about "investing"   anything you cannot afford to lose

Keep your eyes open.....   and even though most Thais will not listen to you ,  you still need to tell them when a deal stinks  and try and explain it to them.......

He urged Thais people not to be gullible

So do not even think of believing this t>>> then

Saw a ton of pictures from Facebook. The airport was flooded with people, the guys behind the scam apparently made over 20 million.
