Kenny202
Thinking about starting a small online business selling frozen food. Will be some smaller orders so wondering how we could transport these around the country. We're in a major isaan city. worgeordie
You will need some polystyrene boxes, different sizes,Makro has a lot of sizes, then as your business grows you could purchase direct from the manufacturer, you will also need some dry ice, dont know where you will get that from, but ask Swensons ice cream if you have one in your area, they put bits of dry ice in takeaway ice cream. lots of people send by bus, overnight,or more expensive couriers. good luck regards worgeordie
DipStick
I do the same in China, but to me the most important is a vacuum packing machine, vacuum pack, freeze, pack nd seal well in polystyrene boxes, I find good for three days
seancbk
Depends how far you intend to transport the food and how much you need to transport. For small amounts the polystyrene containers are ideal, with either reusable gel packs or dry ice. To transport larger amounts you can buy a Eutectic Freezer which will keep things frozen for around 10 hours. I bought one from this company http://thanakoon.com/product-category/eutectic-plate-freezer/?lang=en You can also try this company http://www.aiplus1.com/Equipment-of-Frozen/Mobile-Eutetcic-Freezer.html This is the one I have (pics below)
NickJ
Just go the Swensons route. Eat all the ice cream and reuse the dry ice.
