Please if you have a dog 19kg+ that is healthy please contact Thonglor Pet hospital near meechok plaza. We desperately want our little boy back to full health. Thank you in advance
April 19, 20179 yr I don't have dogs anymore, but the first thing I would do is get the animal over to CMU Small Animal Hospital....
April 21, 20179 yr Did you get blood already now ? How much blood is needed ? I have a 12 month old Lab , 45 kg but i don't want him traumatized. He was in hospital once for 10 days with Parvo. when he was 7 weeks.
April 21, 20179 yr Hi Wendy I am more than please to assist. I know what it is like when you have a little pup that you will try anything to save its life. I strongly recommend you take your pup to Mha Ka Maew Animal Hospital (053 204215). .................their command of the english language is excellent and they will know of appropriate donors and the necessary medical regime. Our 5 months Rottweiler had CPV, but but now has a clean bill of health. Contact me if you if want to discuss.
April 21, 20179 yr We always used Baan Ma Kha Maew when "Mohr Aaa" was there. He went into semi-retirement about 3 years ago. My wife went for at least 15 or more years with all of her animals. All of our dogs have since passed but we have many other animals. We believe the best care currently is at the CMU Small Animal Hospital. They have the resources and equipment/technology to handle anything and most other clinics/hospitals send their cases there to be done (labs, etc.). The Professors are the best. The Ortho vet is the best (and only one in town). If there is a complex case, you may get up to 4 doctors involved and they conference with the Professor(s). Absolutely the best.
April 21, 20179 yr CMU Small Animal Hospital is a good facility but found it frustrating always dealing with 1st year interns.
April 21, 20179 yr My friends dog was at Thonglor a few days ago with multiple ailments needing a blood transfusion. Our dog's blood was a match so we donated blood. Unbelievably the dog is going home today. I would say that Thonglor is the best and most thorough facility I have seen in Chiang Mai. Although of course it comes at a price !

After you go a few times you meet the instructors, more senior doctors and occasionally the Professors. After you have a relationship with them, you can schedule appointments with them directly. Also, most of the Professors have their own private clinics which you can choose to go to if you wish - but they will tell you that for surgery or any major diagnostics - come to the Small Animal Hospital because they have the best and most modern technology in the city.

The location in the big mango has a good reputation. One vet we know here in C.M. used to work there and she said they have a high turnover of vets. The facility here is a franchise, not directly related to the BKK location. I heard from someone who has been to this location that at least one or two of the vets also work at the CMU Small Animal Hospital... Yes... one pays a price for the name....
