Also the following are prohibited:

Sale of alcohol between 14:00 and17:00, also within 200 mtr of an educational establishment.

Entertainment after XX hours ( dependent on location)

Prostitution

Not wearing a seat belt

Not wearing a crash helmet

Drving drunk

Killing Policemen

Human Trafficking

Not.......

Ad infinitum

But it is all just bluff and bluster till it is enforced, without fear or favour.

Which it will never be.

That's one that I hope will be enforced. At last, they came with a good idea. Illegal parking is one major cause of traffic jams. It's not about "following the law", it's about allowing people to move along without any issues.

How about a good old "no private parking ,no car for you" rule?

Is that it? That is truly lame and pathetic.

There should be NO parking at all on any main road or main thoroughfare from 6am to 9pm

Sad, but unfortunately not far off the mark.

I remember when the stopped cars parking / waiting on parts of Soi Ekkamai. Obviously that didn't include Fortuna drivers blocking the road inside lane while nipping for breakfast in the  noodle shop. Usually the same car at the same time.

Just cut down on the number of taxis, I think thats one of the major reasons for traffic and stoppage on the road. Bangkok has way too many.

Absolutely agree. Waiting for customers blocking the left lane as well as bus stops.
Just come to Mo Chit / Chatuchak and observe from one of the bridges.
Luckily some days there is police there but if not is absolute chaos.
