Since most embassies in KL are situated in the expensive Ampang, Jln Uthan area, i doubt you can get a room at those rates (not that i'm aware of at least). your best bet would be the internet for the best rates. Concorde Hotel is a bit old but have decent rates i think. there's a service apartment behind Concorde and close to the Beach club which my mate usually books, good rates and close to KLCC.

Number eight guesthouse is near the embassy, sort of. Its a 7 RM taxi ride. The place is nice and clean and has single rooms. I would stay there again, for sure.
