You guys did not read the report did you? While the motorbike rider must accept responsibility for the alleged speed and the absence of a helmet, the vehicle driver is reported to have made a "sudden" turn. It seems that there was some liability on the part of the vehicle driver as well. In any case, another senseless loss of a young man's life. All preventable and all avoidable if only there was some semblance of drivers ed, responsible driving and respect for others on the road.
Ahab
I missed the "sudden" part in the report. Where did you come up with this?

You have a point as the link isn't here and I have mixed up 2 thread references. It is in the latest article and was linked to the story. I can see why some would be confused. “Witnesses told us that the motorcyclist was riding on Thepkrasattri Road while the Korean driver was coming from the opposite direction. They said that at the junction Mr Park attempted to make a sudden right turn, which caused Mr Siraphan to crash into the truck,” the policeman said. Only a complete moron (RIP) would NOT wear a helmet and speed. It's a death wish (suicide?) come true.
