Immigration police yesterday arrested 60 Nigerian nationals in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmorn district suspected of living in the country illegally.

Chief investigator at the Interior Ministry’s Immigration Department, Major General Uk Heisela, said the 60 Nigerians were found living in rented apartments in Phsar Deumthkov commune. All of them have been transferred to the immigration department for questioning.

“If they are found to have no passports or residency documents, they will be deported and put on a no-entry list permanently,” he said. In 2016, the Cambodian government blacklisted 3,509 migrants for overstaying their visas or entering the country illegally, with as many as 2,570 of them being Vietnamese nationals.

They must have moved from soi 3 and 5 , but still plenty of African hookers wandering around lower Sukhumvit.

Just spent two weeks in Phnom Penh, place was crawling with West Africans, I moved down by the river after the first night................you ever notice you never see them in the day time, but they are all over the place at night.   :saai:
