France's Le Pen says far-right National Front to be relaunched

PARIS (Reuters) - France's far-right National Front must be relaunched, Marine Le Pen said on Sunday after conceding defeat to centrist Emmanuel Macron in France's presidential election .

 

"The National Front ... must deeply renew itself in order to rise to the historic opportunity and meet the French people's expectations," Le Pen said in a brief address to supporters shortly after initial projections were released.

 

"I will propose to start this deep transformation of our movement in order to make a new political force," she added.

Well if she moves more left I think this will split the far right, which could be a good thing

She's a dirty rabid fascist cut from the same  cloth as her scumbag father

Le Pen will swing in any direction if it means her getting into power but once there she will revert to the fascist piece of sh*t that she really is.

She's trying to copy trump.

 

A mix of FAKE populism supposedly interested in the plight of the poor and forgotten (but turns out, actually not) mixed with racism, xenophobia, and nativist hyper nationalism. Not really patriotic per se as she claims. 

 

As trump is melting down as he's fully revealed for the con man that most Americans already knew he was before the election, and the UK suffers under Brexit with crappy deals from the reinvigorated E.U. -- ... that ship has hopefully sailed. 

 

Congratulations to France for dodging her fascist bullet. In five years, who knows? If Macron fails badly, maybe the French fascists will have another chance, or maybe France will swing left. Way too early.

She's not to be trusted, as simple as that.

It would have been a sad Day for France if Le Pen had been elected. But it is not over yet. The far right may pick up more in the representative elections and if the new President does his sweeping labour reform. Fanatics like Le Pen will rule the roost by 2022.
