Uber says to partner with taxis in Myanmar expansion drive

Yacht that fled from police in Krabi belongs to Thai resort operators

A Bt20 million-worth yacht, in which suspects of in an illegal spearfishing case brazenly escaped from police in Krabi’s Mu Koh Lanta National Park last Saturday, belonged to a group of Thai resort business operators, a source in the investigation team said on Thursday.

Body of owner of pickup truck used to make car bomb in Big C explosion found

Security forces have found the body of Mr Nuson Kachornkham, a canvas vendor whose pick-up truck was used to make a car bomb by suspected southern militants in the bomb attack of Big C superstore in Pattani province on Tuesday.

District chief, four others, linked to Big C bombing

Five men, including a Tambon Administration Organisation (TAO) chief, have been detained for questioning over their alleged involvement in the broad daylight bomb blasts in Pattani province, Fourth Army Region Commander Lt-General Piyawat Narkwanich said Thursday.
