Just reporting that I did a renewal today of extension based on retirement, and only needed the standard documents that have always been required.  No need for a medical certificate as required on Samui.  The new immigration office is way out of town so it pays to get things prepared beforehand.

 

For the renewal, map and copies of the blue house book were also not needed.

Has anyone done it last year or this year in Surat Thani? Any changes?
