Dear All, i am UK citizen & i arrive in Thailand on 2nd June - with a plan to stay for upto 12 months - so i need to open a Thai bank account. The Website for Bangkok Bank states that i need a "Letter of reference" - from my home bank to the Bangkok bank - via the Swift messaging Network. Is this something that is actioned when i am in the branch of Bangkok Bank applying for my account - or is it something i need to arrange before I leave the UK ?

thank you for time reading/replying.
