May 20, 20179 yr I have been trying to install a new bluetooth mouse to my laptop which is running Windows 7 and are having problems with the laptop recognising this to install,any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated,thanks
May 20, 20179 yr What version Bluetooth does the laptop have and what version Bluetooth is the mouse ? Ian not sure if Bluetooth is backwards compatible, maybe that is the issue.
May 20, 20179 yr whats the make and model of the laptop and make model of the mouse. Silly question, Bluetooth is turned on on the laptop ? have you managed to connect other devices (mobile phone)?

May 20, 20179 yr 555, its always the simple things that catch ya out, happens to me often !! If the desktop has bluetooth it should be fine, if not grab a bluetooth dongle from you pc parts shop.
May 20, 20179 yr Author Thanks,checked the device manager and like me it is bloody too old and without bluetooth so I will need to pick up a dongle !!!!
