Farang Bum

Featured Replies

Called in to Tops yesterday and witnessed a farang sleeping down the side next to the car park, obviously sleeping off a mammoth session and It was clear he had also wet himself, the carpark attendant was trying to revive him but he was too 'bladdered'. excuse the pun.

I drove off at this point, did anyone else see him? What would the BIB do If they were called?

What tolerance level do the Police have when they come up against this sort of behaviour, is it too strict or too lenient?

What other sights have other TV posters witnessed that has made you think 'what a bad advertisement for farang?'

Some commercial ads/billboards along the highway and on TV??

Scoes of drunks at night in Bangkok in several places??

Do obese women in G-string bikinis count? In the interest of not getting banned and shunned by my peers and receiving an angry PM from Jai Dee and visited by the BIB, no photos available at this time. :o

Actually I saw an Obese Farang Man in a g-string at Tik Beach yesterday :o

sounds like an ugly sight. behaviors like this reinforces the 'farang kee nok' (dirty, disorderly farang) stereotype in the eyes of the thais.

The BIB probably fined him 1000 baht.

Everyone knows that public urination is not tolerated here. :o

:D:D:D

I regularly see one farang collecting plastic bottles for recycling from the rubbish bins in Lumphini park.

yorkie was in surin yesterday so it wernt him, one wonders :o

They would do the same thing as they would to the countless Thai men flaked out around Pattaya, if he is alive and breathing they would just let him sleep it off, if he was abusive and carrying on they'd probably put him up in the hotel on soi 9 for the night and charge him in the morning on his way out. :o

We followed a farang being taken to that hotel on Soi 9 this morning, he was looking quite sheepish in the back of a local town police pick up with motor bike escort. Not cuffed but clearly a bit hung over, nice start to Boxing Day.

Could it have been a farang, who a little earlier, had been attacked by two Thai men on a motorcycle with an iron bar.

Who was knocked senseless and during a state of unconsciousness lost control of his bladder and appeared at first sight to be sleeping in Tops car park.

Was the 'car park attendant'; 'who was trying to revive him'; the same good samaritan who called for an ambulance and admitted him into the Pattaya Memorial Hospital on Pattaya Klang?

I don't know I didnt pay that close attention to him. There were no obvious signs that he had been attacked with an Iron Bar but I suppose if he had been hit around the body marks are not obvious

In many years of living in Pattaya I have never seen a farang lying drunk and sleeping on

the roadside (I've seen a few hunched over the bar). However I have seen many hundreds of

Thai locals do so !

Naka.

Libya 115 has put an interesting slant on this..maybe I was mistaken and maybe he had been attacked, Im wondering whether Libya can elaborate as to how he has come to this conclusion - what did you witness libya?

I noticed the guy had wet himself and assumed he was mungered ...

A couple of common medical conditions can cause the symptoms displayed by this farang bum.

1. Diabetic problem.

2. Siezure disorder.

Hope he recovered.

post-33688-1167242279_thumb.jpgKoh san road few months ago ! people where walking past this man all night looking to see if he was alright then walking off returning seconds later to get a holiday snap ! :o Eventually police came and loaded him on the back of a pick up and took him away!! :D

When you see something like this, an unconscious or sick man or woman on the ground, either pass it by not thinking or comment on it later or stop and find out what is going on and if you can be of any assistance. Passing by and later making assumptions and jokes about it is just brainless and bad taste.

Hope I die before getting old and sick in Thailand! Help from the falangs are obviusly not to be counted on.

I see your point but he looks like he's passed out in the middle of a mexican wave :D

And when I've had my Samaritans armband on and asked these people if they are alright it's quite clear to see that they are totally plastered and only want to be left alone - as I would be if I happened to collapse on the floor after too many :o

Nikkijah :D
