rnalswls2
Hi, As my payroll company charges 10,000THB + to provide tax ID per person, I'd like to go to the Tax office my own to get one. Is it possible or is it too difficult? If there' anyone who get his/her own, please let me know what's the process and things to bring! (I assume, WP, passport and photos...?) This is the link I've found. http://www.rd.go.th/publish/21987.0.html
ubonjoe
I see no reason you could not do it yourself at the local revenue office. It is not that hard to do. Looking the webpage you posted a link to you would only need your passport to apply using a " L.P. 10.1 (individual)" form.

Mattd
1 hour ago, colinchaffers said: They normal use your passport number The Thai tax ID for all is a string of 13 numbers (to match the Thai identification number system) so if your passport number is less or more then I do not see how that is possible, as all of the forms you fill out etc. require the input of 13 numbers? My Thai tax ID number begins with a 0 and is 13 digits The Social Security number begins with a 6 and is 13 digits The work permit 'alien' number is a 14 digit one and begins with a 1 None of them are the same and none correspond in anyway to any of the passport numbers I've held whilst working here. skyaslimit
If you apply for tax ID with your passport, the RD computers will generate a 13 digit number automatically.
tuk75
The Thai pink ID card starts with 6 and is 13 digit and was accepted as a Thai Tax id when I did my declarations yesterday. The number is the same as in your yellow book.
