Want to buy a new secure Safe ....

Most important thing, never hit the dog...every Thai dog is aggressive out of fear, but go in the house with a stick and it will just run away, rendering it useless as a guard dog lol. If you watch 0:54 - 2:20, it shows some times where people have tried to approach either the front fence or front door gate. Keeping in mind that we have been there at all times to tell her the person is okay so it is just a warning from her, the villages have labelled it some kind of devil dog (when on her land) as when we are not there and when they walk past, they all have to cross the road (even with the safety of the fence). Also keep in mind she is only between 8-12 months old in all these videos so will not mature as a fully trust-able guardian dog until 24 months of age. Cost: 18,000 baht. Will get her brother soon also for 12,000 baht as we have helped the breeder out a lot. We took a risk buying a dog in Asia, but her hips/elbows have been cleared by x-rays, physicals (something Thai don't do it seems). Didn't worry about papers, as they are all lied about here (unless DNA proven). Go JJ market and they will sell the same dog, sick for 85,000 baht.

As photos show at the end, excellent family dog. Loves the baby as they are natural guardians. So have a strong desire to guard purely due to their love of the family (always choose the weakest to guard the most). Walked everyday in the village (socialised), so will happily go up to people all friendly, only has a problem with people if they appear out of no where or if they go too close to the pram. At the house it is a different matter obviously as the fenced land is hers as well. I think it is a perfect mindset for Thailand, friendly but protective dog when on a walk, and defensive aggressive and not so friendly when on her land protecting.

The weight or size of a safe is not important.  The security rating of the safe (and proper installation) is what matters.

If security is important to you, choose a safe with a minimal security rating of UL.  EN-rated or VdS rated security safes are the strongest available.

Furthermore, do not confuse a fire rated safe with a security safe. They are not the same. Most safes made in Thailand are fire safes (at best) and provide minimal security protection.
