Anyone Having Problems Signing Into Playstation Network?

Featured Replies

Am I alone in not being able to sign into the Playstation Network today? I know the earthquake off of Taiwan has caused some problems with communications, but my internet is working fine now.

When I do an internet connection test on my PS3 it succeeds in obtaining an IP address and internet connection, but fails on the Playstation network part. I've tried logging in with US,HK, and Japanese accounts, but all come up the same.

Another strange thing is that the background to the OS is now in black and white, maybe this is just standard until you are logged in, but I haven't noticed it before.

Anyway, let me know if you can sign on or not, as if it's only me then I can try to work out what the problem is.

Cheers,

Konangrit

I changed the connection from Wifi to Lan, now the internet connection test does succeed on the Playstation Network, but it still keeps on coming up "An error has occurred. You have been signed out of the PLAYSTATION Network. (80710092)" when I try to sign in. Annoying.

Managed to sign on, but it's a very dodgy connection, so guess it must be down to the earthquake after all.

Yeah I've got the same thing, must be the earthquake, as it was fine a couple of days ago.
