FDA to organize 1st national academic conference for chemical management

 

BANGKOK, 14 June 2017 (NNT) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cooperated with the Department of Agriculture, the Pollution Control Department, the Department of Industrial Works and relevant parties to organize the first national academic conference for chemical management. 

FDA Secretary General Wanchai Sattayawutthiphong said that the first national academic conference for chemical management will be held from 19-20 July 2017 at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok. 

The event will feature videos on chemicals management in the era of Thailand 4.0 by the National Chemical Management Strategic Plan Committee of four ministries including the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of industry. 

There are also other important activities including a special lecture on "Linking National Chemicals Management to SDGs and SAICM", booths of domestic agencies and international organizations, and the exhibition itself.
