hoffy66
Hi All, I am thinking about sending my 2015 Vigo champ dual cab to australia, as i am going to be spending a lot of time over there, has any body done this or knows soe one who has? question 1 a good firm to contact about shipping, question 2 is there any problem with getting it registered over there, i have owned this car since new, and the prices i have been offered are stupid, also looking at similar cars in australia, prices are expensive,so i just want to do the sums. Thanks for any good advise.
madmax2
Better make sure it can be licensed in Australia before you send it , all vehicles in australia are equipped with a heater, not only for heating but defrosting as well locally supplied vehicles do not have one
Jitar
Unsurprisingly, Australia has a heap of regulations on importing, getting a compliance plate and and registering a privately imported vehicle. Getting the compliance plate depends on meeting design rules which extend well beyond heaters and demisters. Google will give a hint of how scary the bureaucratic jungle is.
