Friend of mine is currently having a few issues for a consumer product he distributes in Europe.

He has all the relevant patent and EU design registrations but a German company it seems have copied the product and so far he has succeeded in getting the counterfeit item removed from online platforms like ebay and amazon. He believes german laws and IP protections are much more swifter to act and the threat of such actions when the proof is 100% can ensure a faster resolution outside the courts.

Anyone got any experience or advice on such matters?
