PATTANI: -- People in the southern province of Pattani have been warned to beware of traffic cones as insurgents may have hidden explosives in them.

 

Authorities have seen security footage showing two men on a motorcycle stealing orange cones in front of a coffee shop in Nong Chik district. The cones were stolen in other places in the provinces.

 

Violence in the deep South has escalated in recent weeks during the holy month of Ramadan.
