Clear immigration where?

If I am flying Phnom Penh - Chiang Mai via Bangkok, where will immigration check my passport and stamp me in, Bangkok or Chiang Mai?

Depends on the airline. Ask them if they will check your luggage through to your connecting flight or not. If not, you have to clear immigration and collect your luggage and check-in for your connecting flight.

I'm not talking about my luggage ( will have only hands on), I just would like to know where I get stamped in Thailand, Bangkok or ChiangMai on a flight Phnom Penh-ChiangMai? Will probably fly thaismile or bangkokair.

When arriving from Phnom Penh you will be checked/stamped in Bangkok.

Flights from Suv. to Chiang Mai are 100% domestic.

No way to walk to the domestic terminal without immigration check.

These days, although there can still be rare exceptions, you almost always clear immigration at the first stop within the country. It comes down to carrying rights between domestic airports. If you arrive in Bangkok on a flight continuing to Chiang Mai, and the airline is not allowed to carry domestic passengers between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, there is no need to have you clear immigration in Bangkok. All passengers arriving in Chiang Mai are directed to immigration. If the airline carries domestic traffic, immigration formalities need to be completed for those arriving in Bangkok because there would be no easy way of separating international and domestic passengers on arrival in Chiang Mai.
