Extension of Retirement Visa O and Return Visa

Am having single entry retirement Visa O from UK (90 days stay on entering Thailand). Intend to apply for extension with 800K Thai Bhat in Thai Bank Account and understand this can be done only in last 15 days of 90days stay stamp from airport however during this first 75 days one wants to go out of Thailand can Return Visa issued ? If not can extension based on 800k Thai Bhat in Bank be done earlier say after 30days in Thailand or so ? All advice will be aappreciated and thanking all in advance.

The extension can be done in the last 30 days of your 90 day entry (some offices 45).  If you want to leave and return in the meantime you can get a re-entry permit either at an immigration office or at the airport in Bangkok.

There is no requirement to have 15 day remaining on the 90 day entry when you apply for the extension of stay based upon retirement. The 15 day requirement is to change from a tourist visa entry to non immigrant visa entry.

You can get a re-entry permit that would keep the remainder of the 90 day entry valid when you re-enter the country.
